What a Minnesotan buys at the 18th Street Market

August 11, 2012

My mom and her sister took an impromptu trip from Minnesota to visit me this weekend.

My mom was REALLY EXCITED to get to go to the farmers market I so often have posted about.

She came away from the market with quite a haul.

“Are you going to take a picture and post it on your blog?” she asked.

Good idea, mom!

I give you “What a Minnesotan Buys at the 18th Street Farmers Market“:

Spinach-feta bread, cinnamon swirl bread, chocolate scones, cantaloupe, peaches, kohlrabi, beef jerky, goat cheese curd, goat gouda, dill chevre, chocolate cherry cookies.

Oops, did see peaches. I bought several from Hotchkiss for my “foodie” cousin who arrives Thursday. She runs farmers markets on Columbia River gorge.
